Ukrainian Research Institute for Non-Destructive Testing

The certification of NDT specialists is carried out in Ukraine for I, II and III (highest) qualification levels in accordance with the requirements of national standard DSTU EN 473:2008 "Non-destructive testing – Qualification and certification of NDT personnel – General principles" in the field of voluntary certification. The certification of NDT personnel with the purpose to confirm the qualification level of specialists by one or few NDT methods of industrial production for the specific purpose to ensure the accuracy and objectivity of the NDT results is provided by Personnel Certification Bodies (PCB) with the appropriate authority.

In order to improve the qualification of the specialists on the railway transport and taking into the account specificity of the methods, means and NDT systems in railway transport in 2005 on the basis of "Ukrainian Research Institute for Non-Destructive Testing Ltd". ("UkrRINDT" Ltd) was established as "Personnel Certification Body in the field of non-destructive testing technical facilities of railway transport". The certification of NDT specialists according to the requirements of standard EN 473 is held by the basis of certificate of accreditation № 6O012 January 14, 2011,issued by the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine (the official site NAAU - http://naau.org.ua/).

The PCB "UkrRINDT" assists to ensure an independent and impartial estimation of the competence of staff to build trust and recognition of our customers and their needs in the confirmation of staff in the field of voluntary certification in accordance with the requirements of standard EN 473.Quality policy of the PCB "UkrRINDT"

Special training of the specialists for the exams by specific testing methods in industrial sectors according to EN 473 is carried out by recognized training centers (TC) of PCB "UkrRINDT".

Certification of NDT spesialist is carried out by recognized (accredited) examination centers for NDT(ECNDT) of PCB "UkrRINDT".
